There is a simple joy in simple naïveté. There is also a certain tragedy in being so overly exposed and hurt by a paradigm that the joy of a “unity” to be saught is almost impossible`. Only if we could just work it out. But sadly, when there is a crack in the foundation, there will never really be “real” repair. New wineskins and old wine type of thing! They have not heard balanced dialog about the issue. They just want good things and are not aware of any down side of the current path. I wonder what people like Edgar think about Christians outside the former ICOC...or whether he has even considered that question in the context of unity.
