Normally, I’m not the type of card carrying English major to correct mistakes, but I couldn’t resist this little correction.
Turns out that I didn’t buy the book at all. My wife wants to wait for a better time to read it. So, no trip to the airport. (Turns out the grocery store had copies at $20.99.) All the critical stuff has been spoiled for me already.
Its nice to see how the editor responded to you’re advise about there grammar mistake. Sometimes people let criticism effect them in a bad way. But this editor did not loose his cool. He raised up and admitted his mistake. He excepted your correction well. If I was you I would be pretty pleased.

Reuters has a Good, Bad & the Ugly section to deal with stuff like this. Some of the notes sent to the editor are really nasty.

English Literature, not English Grammar. The diploma says, “Medieval British Literature, Non-Chaucer” beneath English Literature and Language.
