28 and 20 can be fun. There is no fun for -6 with 20 mph winds.
It is snowing now and no one seems to feel comfortable forecasting the amount we’ll get. Since this time yesterday, the estimate went from 1 inch to 1 – 2 inches to 4 – 6 inches to 12 inches to 6 – 8 inches and back to 2 – 4 inches. It was also supposed to start at 3pm local time. It began a full four hours early. I’ve heard about the European model, the American model, the UNL model and a few others. Oh well.
No wonder people like to watch weather news so much – it’s pretty unpredictable for everyone including the experts.
Why do you mock me, Sir?
The Fischel was all excited last night telling us that we might get a little snow this morning.
Yeah, it’s raining…
Take a picture of the snow, Dude. I need to be reminded what it looks like.
It’s still white, right?
We got a small dusting in Okie land. I wanted a bit more. After the ice I’m sure not too many others wanted snow at all in these parts
This morning, I noticed how much warmer it was than yesterday when I went to start my car (to get the frost off the windows). So I went in and looked at our outdoor thermometer and I was right! Yesterday morning, it was 5 but this morning was a balmy 11. Back up in double digits, WOO HOO!
We got some over my way (pics on my blog) but it quickly went away as snow turned to rain. We’re supposed to get more white stuff this weekend. Yeah!!
Was that weather graphic captured from a high definition feed?
Greetings from the Outer Banks of N.C., not really so cold here so maybe I can box up a little of this warmer weather and send it your way!! Anyway I was directed to this site by Scott @ spiritualtramp to get in touch with Bear, I don’t do blogs so I am a little unfamiliar with your site’s navigation and how to proceed but I’m fumbling my way through. Scott happened to do a google search on me because of a comment left to him on an Amiga computer and it triggered thoughts of me apparently, he managed to get in touch with me via a different forum and I emailed him, after that he called my house and we talked for about an hour or so on the phone. Anywho, over the years I have thought of both of you guys and the times we shared together back in the Manteo High School days. So I am just trying to give a shout and say ‘hi’, once I figure out the rest of your site I’ll put up a more proper comment or w/e. Warm wishes and greetings from an old friend who is thoroughly happy to be back in touch!!

I think it was more like 2 hours and a good time it was!
