No one in the pink family was even at Westroads today. Just letting you know because of emails and phone calls already received. Obviously, it is a horrible tragedy. The city is coming together in prayers and vigils. We are all searching for meaning, some more intensely than others. It’s a sad day. My prayers and thoughts are with the family of the shooter and the families of those harmed or killed in today’s tragic event.

I defy anyone to say that because members of the congregation I attend were not harmed, that someone God is showing special favor. Nine people are dead, we should show some respect to their memories. The snow may postpone the prayer service at St. Leo’s tomorrow night. I hope not.
