This theme, called Purple World, was coded by Webagentur. Unlike many folks that do striking graphics, he/she included the Photoshop file with the theme. This allowed me to change the name from Dawncore Designs to the website name. It also allowed me to remove the human face found in the original. Later on, I’ll change the buildings to be local buildings.

I almost went this design (I may still do it.) it’s by the same person.

I tried MT 4.2. I really did. I couldn’t import the old posts. I couldn’t find my first post. I couldn’t navigate very well. I was daunted by how to change template stuff. Mostly, it was the multi-hour failed imports. I realize this is because of the bad system WordPress uses for exporting XML.

Maybe it is like podcasting and blogging. No one really does both.
