The latest proclomation reverses all the work they did.
About 40 days ago, there was debate over the difference between forgiveness and trust. I can and have forgiven Kip for what he has done to the fellowship and to me personally. Can I trust him? Not without some major changes. At this point, my trust will be restored only after he receives professional help and a resignation from the ministry. Not a spot leading a region somewhere, nada employment as a minister. Not a BTL, a GSL, region leader, not a BTL asst, nothing.
In many ways, he has no effect on my life except to feel some sadness and what he is doing. I do not believe that he is really dividing the ICC anymore - those that want to follow him have already moved to Portland.
Just a thought or two.

Not surpising, is it? I’m with you, no real impact on me except it tugs at my heart.
I think you’re right, Kip needs to step away from any kind of leadership and staff role and get some help. I doubt that’s going to happen.
I know personally that I have had to pull myself away from this “brother”’s egomaniacal actions and the shame he creates for himself and others by creating schism in the “kingdom”. I had become obsessed with all of it, so I just simply pulled meself away. I knew that by my continued ingudgence in his sin was wrong on my part, and I had to quit, but seriously, that sin on my part. I know each of us are at our own places, but my enocouragment is to let it go and just leave the man alone. His actions are not biblical, nor endorsed by God. His methodology, though my birth paradigm, is harmful to souls and spirits of God loving people everywhere. Has his actions in the past been an action of God? Almost unquestionable, but his continuence in this behavior is self possessed egoism. I say, let him alone…
