This is cold. Keep in mind this is after the sun came up.

Kurt, I know you hate it when I do this, but seriously, dude. This is not fun.

we’re having bad weather here in S. Texas. It’s not that cold though. I’m home w/bronchitis so I didn’t have to figure out how to get to work with freeways closed down. (we’re such abysmal drivers here when it comes to any ice on the roads that the city just shuts them down). Mostly just black ice; expecting more ice/perhaps snow later today. The news folks have a field day - special “Artic Blast” coverage. oooooh..

    You need these!!

oh, how I hated ice storms in OK! I went to OCC. We used to sit in the ‘fireplace room’ and watch folks fall down on the ice. We would get inches of ice and snow and it’d get sludgy and then refreeze and more ice would fall on top of it. And the wind (OKC is the 2nd windiest city in the US) just made it awful. Ick, Ick….

We finally got a little bit of winter here today. It was snowing when I got up!! You know how excited I got…

It was only a half an inch, but it made everything white for a few hours, and that was good for my soul.

In case you’ve forgotten, Elizabeth Gardener is the devil…
