This is more cool than I can say. Gravia, the lamp the works outside the grid.
I want a bunch of these if for no other reason than they don’t have cords.
Besides, using the fundamental force of the universe to generate power is the ultimate green tech.

It’s not green. You have to eat food to generate calories to lift the weight. That food has to be grown, harvested, packaged, and shipped to market. You then drive to the store, bring it home, cook it using electricity and/or gas, and then eat it. We won’t even get into all the packaging that gets thrown away, and - ahem — the other related waste products.
All things considered, you’re probably better off lighting a pine torch.
