The big thing here was the computer project, a recurring dream, and a few words about the identity of Wax Tablet. On a side note, I managed to post 26 times publicly and once privately in October – that is almost one a day. I make it a point to write somewhere everyday if I can. (Sometimes the writing is offline and not public.)

I have cinematic dreams, but remember very,very few of them. I think I have the same six or seven over and over, but I don’t know for certain.

Computer Biz

Originally, the was set up before I was married to go into business with mrtool and my father. The business didn’t pan out. With permission from mrtool, I’ve revamped the site to hold information on the technical progress of the project. Yes, mrtool, I kept the same idea of green as an identity color.

Package lists, downloads, and other news will appear there shortly.

My Family

My wife has not posted like she would like, so the family website gets unused. To spruce things up, I added a countdown to the birth of our second child. Unfortunately, it turns out that the due date is three weeks later than originally thought. The new date is April 11th.

The countdown is broken now. I hope to fix it soon.

Sycarion

More on Lenga was posted without details. Some have wondered why I’d go through all the trouble of creating a language to explain how magic works. Call it neurosis, I guess.

For the record, I’ve never read any book written by Tolkien and will not until I am finished writing about Lenga. I have a bad habit of copying the styles of those I read and I am trying to find my written voice.

Takteek is coming along well. Mrtool brought over some boards he made of various shapes and sizes. We’ll play next week, I was babysitting this week. So far, I’ve only won one game.

The rules are being written in an XML format because of the wide number of options available to play. I’m not very good with XML, so it may not work.

The goals stated here are not often met completely, but I feel it is still good to aim for something.
