I’m incapcitated, so no portal update for awhile.

Found out that the baby is due on April 11,2007 not March 17,2007 as previously thought. Otherwsie, the ultrasound didn’t come up with anything unusual. I’ll update the coutdown on my wife and I’s personal site when I feel better.

Let’s see, not much else for me. Yeah, I added actual discussion forums, but that’s more for me to get practice working with phpbb. Write all you want or don’t want, all I’m saying is that they weren’t created to fill a real need for Yet Another Discussion Forum..

I’ll change the Computer Biz site to keep track of the computer project sometime soon. So far, though, there’s been a lot of technical stuff going on in that space. The test computer is an ancient Gateway E3000. Yup, Pentium(r) Pro 200 mhz with MMX. At this point it has two ‘modes’ which are really two different window managers. One is configured to work like a Mac(R) using Enlightment. The other is configured to work like a legacy PC using Xfce. The Mac(R)-like one runs really fast. The whole thing is beginning to look really slick. Many thanks to Paul Sherman, the guy behind Absolute Linux, the folks that make slapt-get, the maker of Guten-Py, the Enlightenment guys, and many others that have created wonderful programs and tweaks.

Slackware is a great development environment.
