You may have come here because I asked you to visit. You may have stumbled here because you did a google search on the word pinakidion and discovered that this is the first entry. Some of you may have even come over from the ICC Discussion forum or other places. However you got here, welcome.

I really pray about the things I post here. Sometimes, I think of this place as a personal psalter. Some posts are happy, some are angry, some are sad, all of them are honest. After reading a few, that may seem odd that I pray about things like my fantasy world, but I do. I really enjoy writing and I pray to develop those fantasy world ideas for their own sake. As far as theological issues go, I strive to be fair pointing out good and not so good things in everything around me, including myself. I do not apologize for what I think, but I am always willing to discuss it and admit where I am wrong.

I would like to think that one day, many people will come here and read my thoughts on various topics. At that point, I remember that I am not writing to be loved, respected, or even hated. This place is not my life, just a record of things that move around between my ears.

Here’s an explanation of the topics:

• Are Belong to Us – These posts refer to the website itself. The reference is too obscure to explain briefly.
• Church and/or Sprituality – These posts refer to spiritual insights, issues, and thoughts. Church items either refer to church as a universal, not a specific denomination, or to the church I currently attend.
• Computers – This is the repository for my Linux or clerry.com posts.
• Expositions – This category covers books of the Bible I study. Some are not complete.
• General -Miscellaneous stuff that doesn’t fit anywhere else.
• ICoC Subculture – These posts are specifically about the International Churches of Christ.
• My Life – These posts are about the joys, sorrows, and other happenings in my life.
• Role Playing Games – These posts are about RPG mechanics, rules, or background information. This category can cover anything from a review of a new free RPG to background information suitable for various genres of RPGs.
• Semithought – Here lies the unfinished ideas of posts that I either decided not to post, did not feel like finishing, or works in progress. If I finish a semithought, it will be recatergorized.
• World of Dira – This is my fantasy world that I write about from time to time. It’s sort of an alternate universe based on the Roman Empire. These posts are the ones that look the most out of place, so note the category when reading.

Update January 1, 2006: Just so you know, you will get error messages when you post. The comment will appear, however, I did not upgrade last time correctly, so it is an error that cannot be fixed. The WordPress guys insist it is an issue with a space somehwere in the code and there is no space problem. Maybe the upgrade to 2.0 will fix it.

Theme Notes
The Meteora Theme (two guys and a rainbow) has an issue with overwriting on the comments that I cannot fix. However, with spacing issues aside, I like it.

The /Pink theme (pronounced SlashPink and looks like SlashDot) doesn’t have this issue, but Slashdot is losing cool points thanks to Digg.

The Rubric theme is my favorite because of the red pen.

The Exquisite theme is the best yet, my gratitude to the creator is a permanent part of this theme when it is in use. This will usually be the theme you see.
